osik
WARNING
osik is no longer updated. Use zept instead.
osik is a nodejs backend framework centered on performance and weight.
Inspired by koa, only middleware is supported by default, but the handler of this framework is inspired by express, not koa. The concept of middleware is similar to express.
ts
const { osik } = require('osik');
const app = osik();
app.use((req, res, next) => {
res.body = 'Hello World!';
});
app.listen(3000);
const { osik } = require('osik');
const app = osik();
app.use((req, res, next) => {
res.body = 'Hello World!';
});
app.listen(3000);
Installation
Install using npm:
npm install osik
npm install osik
async/await
osik supports async/await by default.
ts
app.use(async (req, res, next) => {
await next();
console.log('2');
});
app.use(async (req, res) => {
await new Promise((resolve) => {
setTimeout(() => {
resolve();
}, 1000);
});
console.log('1');
res.body = 'Hello World!';
});
app.use(async (req, res, next) => {
await next();
console.log('2');
});
app.use(async (req, res) => {
await new Promise((resolve) => {
setTimeout(() => {
resolve();
}, 1000);
});
console.log('1');
res.body = 'Hello World!';
});
result:
$ node index.js
1
2
$ node index.js
1
2
Routing
If you want express-style Router, use @osik/router
.
Install @osik/router before using router,
npm install --save-dev @osik/router
npm install --save-dev @osik/router
@osik/router
provides an express-style router.
ts
const { osik } = require('osik');
const { Router } = require('@osik/router');
const app = osik();
const router = new Router();
// get
router.get('/', (req, res) => {
res.body = 'Hello World';
});
// post
router.post('/books', (req, res) => {
res.body = `I love ${req.body.id}`;
});
app.use(router.routes());
app.listen(3000);
const { osik } = require('osik');
const { Router } = require('@osik/router');
const app = osik();
const router = new Router();
// get
router.get('/', (req, res) => {
res.body = 'Hello World';
});
// post
router.post('/books', (req, res) => {
res.body = `I love ${req.body.id}`;
});
app.use(router.routes());
app.listen(3000);
Static
You can also set public folder.
ts
const { osik } = require('osik');
const { Static } = require('@osik/static');
const app = osik();
app.use(Static('/public'));
app.listen(3000);
const { osik } = require('osik');
const { Static } = require('@osik/static');
const app = osik();
app.use(Static('/public'));
app.listen(3000);
